  • Prayers and Upcoming Events At Faith UMC 3/2/2026

    Prayers of strength, comfort, and healing for Wanda Bates, who is in Henry Ford Main Hospital with a broken hip.
     
     Grace Ann's friend Kathy. She has had many medical problems this winter and will have another surgery on March 2nd. 
     
    Prayers of strength, comfort, and healing for Ruth Briggs, who is now at Aerius Health Center in Riverview, Room 123, receiving physical therapy.
     
    Currently Not Accepting Clothing Donations Due to ChristNet Mission

    The Clothing Closet is not accepting clothing donations due to the upcoming ChristNet mission.

     We will return to accepting clothing donations starting the week of March 9th. Thank you for being so understanding.

  • Lent Services 2026

    With the holy season of Lent about to begin, we would like to share some opportunities for Ash Wednesday, February 18th, in Compton Hall. 

    The Day will begin at 9:30 am with a light breackfas and communion sponsored by the UMW. ALL ARE WELCOME

    From 12 pm until 1:00 pm drive by ashes will be offered in the church parking lot. All denominations are welcome. 

    From 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm the sanctuary will be open for Communion and imposition of ashes and a time for personal meditation. 

    We hope to see you at one or more of these events!

    Phyllis Weaver Memorial Service

    Join us in honoring Phylis Weaver, a dedicated member of our Faith UMC church family. Phyllis will be remembered for her profound love, steadfast support, and vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
     
     
    Phyllis Ann Weaver, born on March 14, 1934, in Monroe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at Michigan House Senior Living in Riverview, Michigan.
     
    Friends and family are invited to honor Phyllis's memory during a Memorial Gathering on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM, both at The Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton.
     
    Memorial contributions to honor Phyllis's life may be made to Faith United Methodist Church, 2530 Charlton, Trenton, MI 48183.

    MESSY CHURCH IS FOOD!  Each Messy Church includes a meal.  Sitting with old and new friends sharing the stories of our real messy lives!
