Welcome to Sunday School

At Faith United Methodist Church we offer Sunday school for all ages.  We all need to continue to grow in our faith and our knowledge of our Lord.   The key is to find what's right for you and fulfills your needs.  Please feel free to contact Ardith Brown, our Christian Education Director, with any questions.

Our classes

All Classes are held from September 11, 2011- May   , 2012

 

Pre-k through Grade 6;  classes are held during our 11:00 am service on Sundays.  Children are released from the service after the children's moment.  Curriculum is through Gospel Light and Cokesbury and follows the church calendar in terms of subject.

 

Middle School and High School; Both groups meet seperately from 11:00am-12:00pm.  The curriculum is chosen by the teachers and usually follows a bible study that is age appropriate.  Classes Do Not meet on the first Sunday of the month so that teens can participate in communion, the sermon and have the opportunity to serve as liturgist if they so desire.

 

Adult Sunday School;  This class meets every Sunday at 9:30am-10:30am.  The current course of study follows the Adult Bible Study books from Cokesbury.

 

Family 101;  This class is geared toward the parents of children from birth to high school aged.  The focus of the group for the 2011/2012 year is based on the book "Growning the connected Family" by  James and Lynne Jackson.  Family 101 meets on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 9:30-10:30.

 

 

Ardith Brown is the Director of Children's Ministries, community outreach and web based ministries.  Ardith has held this position for the past 2+ years.  She has worshiped with us since 2006 with her husband and two children.  Her favorite thing about Faith UMC is the sense of family, if it be with encouragement, compassion, sympathy or celebration, the family of Faith is active in their support of each other.  If you have any questions or concerns please contact Ardith at ardithbrown@trentonfaith.com   or by calling (734)671-5211 x13.
