At Faith United Methodist Church we are a congregation in mission. We support and actively participate in several missions both global and local. Below you will find the many ways in which we are doing God's work through our prayers, our presence and our service.

Heifer Project International (HIP) Gifts to HIP enable hungry families around the world to become more self reliant by providing animals and education in care of those animals. Our Sunday School holds bake sales starting April 15th. All proceeds go to purchase various animals for HIP.

EASTSIDE
MINISTRIES
(A service of Cass U.M.Church Ministries)
will be at Faith U.M.C. FRIDAY, JUNE 22 at 11AM
Eastside Ministries provides daytime structure for special needs adults, most of whom reside in group homes in Detroit. The U.M.W. hosts an annual luncheon, complete with games and
prizes,
and smiling friendly faces. Your help is needed to make this mission project a success. Food - prizes - help for bingo and lunch. Lots of help is needed with the bingo game! If you have
only an hour
to help, please come at 11:30AM! A sign-up sheet is located in the Corner Lobby to volunteer to help with bingo, serve lunch or donate food. If you have any questions you may call
Karin Hiske at 671-5211

SHINE Week (Sharing His Incredible News Everywhere)
Beginning on Monday, June 25th at 9:15 am a group of our youth, grades 4-8, are invited to work their way through a week of mission. We will be participating in things to help our community, such as working at Penrickton School for the Blind, humbug marsh, the Great Lakes Rabbit sanctuary and much more. Don't worry it's not all work, we have some fun too. Fellowship is important and while a common goal brings you together you'll be rewarded with trips to the wave pool, yankee air museum, and some good old fashioned fun at a free car wash. Please call the office for more information or sign up in the corner lobby. (there is no cost for this event)
