 Call to Worship
Leader: There's a song that cannot be silenced
People: God, we won't be silent!
Leader: There's a faith that rises through the flames
People: God, we won't be silent!
Leader: The greater the storm, the louder our song!
People: We lift our voices to make your name known!
Leader: We lift our voices to make your praise glorious!
People: How good it is to sing praises to our God!
1st Scripture Reading: Psalm 96:1-6 CEB
Sing to the Lord a new song!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord! Bless his name!
Share the news of his saving work every single day!
Declare God’s glory among the nations;
declare his wondrous works among all people
because the Lord is great and so worthy of praise.
He is awesome beyond all other gods
because all the gods of the nations are just idols,
but it is the Lord who created heaven!
Greatness and grandeur are in front of him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.  Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Brother 2 Brother IN CANTARE (SING ON)
Life is good...even great. You rise each morning energized and eagerly awaiting the possibility and potential the day will bring. And then it happens. Tragedy strikes. Totally unexpected events rock your world, alter your course, knock the wind out of your sails, and leave you asking, "what just happened"?
How do you respond to life's storms and struggles? Brother 2 Brother’s songs of faith, hope and perseverance bring a moment of calm in the midst of the storm. These songs remind us of our anchor, Jesus Christ that holds our ship secure to ride out the raging sea until the waters calm.
We are blessed to have Matthew J. Packer and Richard Kerry Thompson, here this morning. As you leave, you will have the opportunity to show your gratitude as we gather a love offering to help them in their ministry.
